Osservatorio sul torrente is an interdisciplinary research platform based in Spazio Hydro (Biella, IT) that focuses on the Cervo river as a common and a central element of the social, political, cultural, and economic development of the Biellese area.

Osservatorio sul torrente aims to collect and promote interdisciplinary research and in-depth studies that question the relationship between the inhabitants and the river, stimulate new participatory experiences that enhance the less considered or forgotten aspects of the territory, trigger the creation of other imaginaries, and build a new collective narrative of the relationship with the river.

Osservatorio sul Torrente è una piattaforma di ricerca interdisciplinare ospitata presso Spazio Hydro (Biella, IT) che si focalizza sul fiume Cervo come bene comune ed elemento centrale dello sviluppo sociale, politico, culturale ed economico del territorio biellese.


L’Osservatorio nasce per raccogliere e promuovere ricerche e approfondimenti interdisciplinari che mettano in discussione il rapporto tra gli abitanti e il fiume, stimolare nuove esperienze partecipative che valorizzino gli aspetti meno considerati o dimenticati del territorio, con l’obiettivo di innescare la creazione di altri immaginari e costruire una nuova narrazione collettiva del rapporto con il fiume.
